La Roux: 'Brit Awards aren't everything'

The duo are nominated in the 'British Breakthrough Act' category, while 'In For The Kill' is up for 'British Single'.
"For me and Ben [Langmaid], awards ceremonies aren't the be all and end all," ThisIsLondon quotes her as saying.
"It's always lovely, as it was for the Mercury and as it is for this, to be involved. But if you're proud of what you've done, you should be proud of it whether you win or not."
Last year, Jackson admitted that she chose to ignore it when the duo's self-titled debut album was nominated for the Mercury music prize.
Lady GaGa, JLS, Florence and the Machine, Lily Allen and Pixie Lott are all up for three prizes at the annual awards ceremony, which will take place at London's Earls Court on February 16.
