The 'Billie Jean' star, who passed away last June, reportedly created the video clip to support his performance of 'Earth Song' during his planned comeback concerts in London.
"It was one of the most important portions of the concert tour to Michael and when Michael saw the film for the first time at his last rehearsal, there were tears in his eyes," said the show's co-executive producer and Jackson associate Ken Ehrlich.
Celine Dion, Jennifer Hudson, Smokey Robinson, Carrie Underwood and Usher will also take to the stage to pay tribute to Jackson.
CBS has partnered with Target to provide millions of free 3D glasses for viewers at home.
The 52nd annual Grammy Awards will air January 31 on CBS.
