'Stylo', a collaboration with rappers Mos Def and Bobby Womack, appeared on YouTube today. It is the first completed track to surface from the record.
The animated group, helmed by Blur frontman Damon Albarn and artist Jamie Hewlett, are expected to release the follow-up to 2005 sophomore LP Demon Days this spring.
Plastic Beach will also feature collaborations with Snoop Dogg, Lou Reed, The Horrors and Barry Gibb.
This week, Gorillaz were announced to headline the final day of the Coachella festival in April.
