LCD Soundsystem announce UK tour

LCD Soundsystem have confirmed details of a forthcoming UK tour for this spring.

The New York collective are to kick off at London's Brixton Academy on April 23, around the same time as the arrival of their third album.

Frontman James Murphy has previously hinted that the record could mark the last release from the group.

LCD Soundsystem will play the following dates:

• London O2 Academy Brixton (April 23)


• Birmingham O2 Academy (26)


• Leeds O2 Academy (27)


• Manchester University (May 1)


• Bristol O2 Academy (2)
