WENN says that the musician had planned concerts in Philadelphia, New York and Los Angeles but had problems obtaining a visa.
Writing on his official website, Dangerfield apologised to his fans and said that he is hoping to reschedule the gigs.
"Really sorry to announce this, but due to a delay in my visa coming through we've had to cancel the US shows next week," he said. "We're hoping to be able to reschedule and come out and play those shows, and more on top, in March, so we'll keep you posted on all that.
"Was really looking forward to it so a bit gutted, but time'll move fast and like I say hopefully I'll be out in March."
