Birgisson: 'Sigur Ros on indefinite hiatus'

Birgisson told Spinner UK that the group are currently taking time off, after sessions for their new album were scrapped in 2009.
The announcement refutes rumours that circulated towards the end of last year claiming that the Icelandic group had completed their new album .
Birgisson's Go is due out in the US on March 22.
