The band, who recently teamed up with Santigold for her forthcoming album, will perform at the Whistler Medals Plaza venue on February 22, with the gig due to be broadcast on NBC.
Speaking about the upcoming event, bassist Jerry Casale declared that he was "really excited to have the opportunity to let everyone know that De-evolution is real!"
Meanwhile, singer Mark Mothersbaugh also hinted that fans could expect new material from the band during the concert, reports NME.
"Now, more than ever before, it is time to disobey the mob and think for ourselves," he explained, adding that the band's ambitions for 2010 are, "to remind people that biology is destiny, and De-evolution is real! We are back with inspirational tomes of truth and neuro-simpatico sonic nuggets for the entire world, not just our species!"
Devo's appearance will be part of the wider Whistler Victory Ceremonies, which run from February 13 to the 27 and is also expected to feature live performances from the likes of Feist, Usher and The Fray.
The 2010 Winter Olympic Games run from February 12–28.
