The album, due out in mid-April, will feature 15 tracks from the Australian rock band, including hits such as 'TNT', 'The Razors Edge', and 'Shoot to Thrill'.
Accompanying the soundtrack's release will be a new music video for 1980 song 'Shoot to Thrill', featuring clips from the film and footage from a recent AC/DC concert in Buenos Aires.
Iron Man 2 marks the second time AC/DC have compiled some of their songs for a movie. The band's first soundtrack was for 1986 film Maximum Overdrive.
Iron Man 2 premieres on IMAX screens and conventional cinemas on May 7.
