The Fantasy Football comic revealed at last night's Loaded Lafta comedy awards that he had considered penning a follow-up to his 1996 and 1998 number one '3 Lions'.
"I think I might have a go at writing a new one with the other guys," he told BBC Radio 5Live. ''Stick with the old team."
Skinner said that he does not want to re-release '3 Lions', but admitted that he cannot prevent the label Epic from doing it.
"We couldn't get any more blood out of that stone," he said. "But we haven't got complete control, the record company could re-release it if they'd like to."
Skinner and Baddiel previously confirmed that they would be reunite for a series of exclusive podcasts and live shows on Absolute Radio based around the 2010 World Cup.
