The speculation has circulated since Nick Jonas announced that he is working on solo material, but Joe said that the trio are "happy" together.
"We are happy being a band, and it's what we've always wanted to do," he told People. "We are not breaking up. There's no reason for us to do that."
Joe added that he is currently writing lots of new music, explaining: "I can't stop."
He also revealed that he is thrilled the band will be recognised for their charity work by the TJ Martell Foundation at a ceremony in April.
"It's really cool," he said. "I can't believe it. I think I'm just getting started, so to be honoured already seems too early."
