The 'Beat Again' group, who kick off their UK tour in Margate tonight, have allegedly attracted the interest of Jive Records and Epic, both owned by Sony Music Entertainment.
Jive currently has acts including Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake on their roster, while Epic is home to Jessica Simpson, Shakira and Jennifer Lopez.
According to The Sun, the group are "thrashing out a deal at the moment".
"With Jive behind them the band have a very good chance of going all the way in America," a source said.
The group's second UK single 'Everybody In Love', which topped the chart in November, has reportedly been playlisted on a number of US radio stations.
JLS are signed to Epic in the UK and recently secured a reported £1 million publishing deal with EMI.
