Blige slams band at pre-Grammy bash

The 'I Am' singer was performing at the Clive Davis hosted bash when she halted the musicians just seconds into the song.
"Can we get the right music for Mary J. Blige?" she demanded, going on to question: "Are we practicing still?"
According to The Mail On Sunday, audience members stared in disbelief as the scene unfolded. Greg Phillinganes, the band's musical director, said later that the singer was right to halt the music, explaining that his ear piece wasn't inserted properly and he hadn't heard what the singer had said.
