The singer scooped the 'Album Of The Year' and 'Best Country Album' gongs for her LP Fearless, while her song 'White Horse' was named 'Best Country Song' and 'Best Female Country Vocal Performance'.
Picking up the award for 'Best Country Solo Vocal Performance', she said: "This is my first Grammy you guys! I mean, this is a Grammy!
"I live in awe of the people I was nominated against in this category. Thank you to anyone who is a Grammy voter. I'm so happy, thank you so much!"
Later collecting her 'Album Of The Year' prize, the 21-year-old admitted that winning a Grammy had been a childhood dream.
"I just keep thinking back to when you are in second grade and people joke around and they say, 'Maybe we'll see you at the Grammys one day' and it just seems like an impossible dream.
"I just feel like I'm standing here accepting an impossible dream, so thank you for that."
Beyoncé was the biggest winner at the awards ceremony, picking up six awards including 'Song Of The Year', 'Best R&B Song' and 'Best Female R&B Vocal Performance'.
