The singer set a new record for the most trophies won by a solo female artist in one night after scooping six gongs at the annual show.
Speaking to ET Online, she said: "It's very emotional. I'm trying to hold it in because I can see right now, looking around, that this is something I will never ever forget and this night is very surreal for me."
When asked how proud husband Jay-Z was, she replied: "I'm so lucky to have everyone in my life and to have genuine love and friends and family and support. I think it's the most important thing. The Grammys are amazing, but to have the support means everything."
She added that it was "wonderful" to see Michael Jackson's children accepting his 'Lifetime Achievement' gong, adding: "It's just wonderful to continue celebrating his life and legacy."
