The singer, famed for his New Zealand group's 1995 hit single 'How Bizarre', passed away on January 31 after a short illness.
Pauly's brother Tony told One News: "He had all this fame dumped on him, which he had to cope with by himself... He just fought all the way to the end."
'How Bizarre' was a global hit, topping several national charts in early 1996 and being named 'Single Of The Year' at the New Zealand Music Awards. OMC were named 'Most Promising Group' and Fuemana 'Most Promising Singer' at the same ceremony.
