The electroclash trio, who are currently on an extended hiatus, described the collaboration as a "dream come true" and praised Aguilera's "unbelievable voice".
"Meeting Christina and working at her home studio was simultaneously super-comfortable and normal-seeming while also kind of a mind-blowing window into another world," singer Johanna Fateman wrote on her blog.
"[We] found a ton of common ground in our aim to make upbeat danceable tracks celebrating female friendship, strength, and of course, PARTYING. For a feminist band obsessed with pop music, it was pretty much a dream come true."
The musician called Aguilera a "technical virtuoso behind the mic" and revealed that they incorporated different musical styles into the collaborations.
"The songs have a lot of elements we're known for, like a garage guitar sound, schoolyard chants, new wave-y synths [and] electro beats," she said. "[But] somehow it all sounds crazily right with Christina's unbelievable voice."
Fatemen added that she hopes the songs will make it on to Aguilera's new album Bionic, which is scheduled for release in April.
Le Tigre have released three studio albums since their self-titled debut in 1999. Their music has previously been recognised for dealing with issues of feminism and the LGBT community.
