The pop duo of Neil Tennant (vocals) and Chris Lowe (synthesiser) surprised project manager Lorraine Sands by playing classic hits such as 'It's A Sin'.
Sands said that she thought she was "hallucinating" during the performance, and Tennant added that the experience was "surreal" and "very good fun", according to the BBC.
The singer continued: "It's amazing how much you can do in such a relatively small space compared with a stage. That was the whole point of it, to recreate an arena production, or elements of it anyway, in the intimate environment of a living room."
Organised by Brits sponsor MasterCard, Sands was chosen at random out of thousands of fans before answering pop-based knowledge questions.
The footage will be shown as part of the two-hour awards show, which kicks off at 8pm on Tuesday, February 16.
Pet Shop Boys won the award for 'Outstanding Contribution to Music' at last year's ceremony.
