'Helping Haiti' single 'to top a million'
Published Thursday, Feb 4 2010, 12:01 GMT | By David Balls

The track, a cover of REM's 1992 hit 'Everybody Hurts', has already attracted record interest ahead of its global release on February 8.
"We're getting record levels of pre-orders for 'Everybody Hurts'," HMV spokesperson Gennaro Castaldo said.
"It is well on course to become a million seller, easily the biggest single for a decade.
"This single will dominate the charts in the weeks ahead as the biggest release of the past ten years."
Profits from the charity single will be divided equally between the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) and The Sun's Helping Haiti appeal.
The song features a lineup of 21 artists, including Leona Lewis, Rod Stewart, Mariah Carey, Cheryl Cole, Susan Boyle, Kylie Minogue and Robbie Williams.
