According to The Sun, other stars who laid down their vocals on the Andy Wright-produced cover of Screamin' Jay Hawkins's 'I Put A Spell On You' are Nick Cave, Chrissie Hynde, Paloma Faith, Glen Matlock and Mick Jones.
A source said: "It was a hilarious day. Loads of pizzas, Chinese and Indian food was ordered and the drink was flowing. The single is in the bag and it sounds fantastic."
MacGowan reportedly plans to get Johnny Depp and Keith Richards to lay down additional contributions to the track in the US.
