Buchanan unaware of Sugababes album leak

Keisha Buchanan has denied knowing anything about the new Sugababes album Sweet 7 leaking online.

The singer featured on the original version of the record, but it was later re-recorded after Jade Ewen replaced her in the group lineup.

Writing on Twitter, Buchanan insisted that she was unaware the album had appeared online prior to its release next month.

"If it's true.... ummm I don't have an opinion on it. Nothing to do with me," she wrote.

"I recorded that album... I've not heard the new version. I don't follow what they do, I'm focused on me at last lol xxx"

The 25-year-old is currently working on material for her debut solo album and confirmed that she is also "writing for new bands".

"These last few months have been pretty chilled out. I have been working full on since I was 13 years old in the music industry so I'm finally getting some control and balance in my life and I'm happy," she added.

Buchanan previously revealed that she is eager to collaborate with former bandmate Mutya Buena on her solo album.
