Simon Cowell's Haiti charity song has topped the Irish singles chart this week.

The cover of REM's 'Everybody Hurts', organised by the music mogul and featuring vocals from Kylie Minogue, Leona Lewis and Rod Stewart among others, knocks X Factor duo John & Edward down to second place with their debut song 'Under Pressure (Ice Ice Baby)'.

Owl City's 'Fireflies' drops one spot to third, followed by the Glee cast with 'Halo/Walking On Sunshine' and Timbaland's 'If We Ever Meet Again' in fourth and fifth spot respectively.

In total, the Glee cast score four hits in the top 20. Their cover of 'Don't Stop Believin' is at six, 'It's My Life/Confessions, Pt. II' debuts at seven and their version of 'Somebody To Love' is at 11.
