Gabriel to skip Genesis Rock Hall ceremony

The founding band member has a scheduling conflict due to his upcoming European tour that will make it impossible for him to appear at the event, reports HitFix.
Gabriel formed Genesis in 1967 with original members Mike Rutherford, Tony Banks, Anthony Phillips and Steve Hackett. Phil Collins replaced Gabriel as singer after his departure in 1976.
The induction ceremony is scheduled for March 15 in New York.
Genesis are to perform at the event.
