The popstar, who has been nominated for 'British Female Solo Artist', 'British Breakthrough Act' and 'British Single', admitted that she didn't expect to be shortlisted.
"To be part of [the Brits] now is exciting as I didn't expect to be nominated," she told the Daily Star.
Speaking about her competition, she added: "All of the girls in the British Female category are amazing, but there are also some other great artists who haven't been nominated. Leona Lewis is the voice, Lily Allen has her own thing going on, as does Florence, and Bat For Lashes is really cool. Everyone is so different I don't really know who I could be compared to."
Lott explained that she is so thrilled to be attending the ceremony that she doesn't mind whether or not she wins.
"It's such a great event to go to that I will be celebrating whether I win or not," she said. "But if I do win I'll go crazy. My mum keeps my other awards on our piano so that's where my Brit will go if I am victorious."
