Nutini wanted Florence Brits duet

The singer-songwriter told The Times that he wanted to collaborate with Florence Welch on Brian Eno's 'Baby On Fire', taken from his 1974 album Here Come The Warm Jets.
Nutini said: "I don't know why. But I was thinking it had to be a duet. And the person who I imagined beside me on stage was Florence from Florence And The Machine.
"Of course, if you're going to duet with someone at the Brits, it has to be a cover of something. But that was okay, because I had that worked out too."
Despite being nominated in the 'British Solo Male' and 'British Album' categories, Nutini will not sing at tonight's event, while Florence And The Machine will perform a duet with Dizzee Rascal.
However, Nutini added: "I've never been desperate to be on the Brits. If they were ever going to get me on there, wouldn't it be now, when the album's at number one?"
