RATM, Aerosmith confirmed for Download

Rage Against The Machine, Aerosmith and AC/DC have been confirmed as the headliners of this year's Download Festival.

The bands will top the main stage at the Donington Park event on June 11 to June 13 and are joined on the bill by Them Crooked Vultures, 30 Seconds To Mars, Stone Temple Pilots, Megadeth, Bullet For My Valentine, Motörhead, Deftones and more.

Rage Against The Machine recently confirmed the details of a free gig in London's Finsbury Park on June 6 and will also play the Dublin O2 two days later.

Earlier this month, organisers of Download announced that flags will be banned from the main arena of the site this year after an "overwhelming" number of complaints at the 2009 event.
