Jay-Z 'wants to help Burke break America'

Jay-Z has reportedly expressed an interest in helping Alexandra Burke to launch her music career Stateside.

The rapper, who recently tipped boyband JLS for US success, has allegedly claimed that the 'Bad Boys' singer has the potential to achieve global stardom.

According to The Sun, Jay-Z has also offered to help 'Superstar' singer Jamelia launch an album in America.

Burke reportedly recently signed a £3.5 million five-album deal with Epic in the US.

The 21-year-old has been reworking her debut album Overcome, which is due for a US release in the spring.
