Since 2007, the X Factor winner has received at least one nomination at the ceremony every year, but has never yet walked home with a prize.
At this year's ceremony, which was held at London's Earls Court last week, the singer lost out to Lily Allen in the 'British Female Solo Artist' category.
Speaking to The Mirror about her latest setback, Lewis commented: "It was sad not to win. But I'm not miffed. I'm glad Lily Allen won - she's had a great year. She's been snubbed too - and other acts like Radiohead have not won Brits before and been snubbed.
"I'm still early on in my career and I want to be an artist that has longevity. I want to have time to pace myself. I'll win a Brit Award one day."
Lewis's new single 'I Got You' is out now.
