Builders 'blag their way into Brit Awards'

Paul d'Ath from Upminster in Essex and Chris Stowe managed to convince a security guard that they were "facility managers" and found themselves mixing with celebrities including Cheryl Cole and Robbie Williams.
"We headed towards Earls Court, we didn't have any tickets, it was pouring with rain and we were all suited and booted," D'Ath told BBC Newsbeat.
"We waited until everybody had gone in and the awards had started, we basically picked on the smallest security guard that we could, went over and blagged him with a story about how we had been at the event for three days. [We said] we were a facilities management team and had only popped out for food.
"He said, 'OK, no problem, you know where you're going, don't you?' Before we knew it, we were backstage.
"Once you hit backstage and realise this is it, it's euphoric. The first person we saw was Robbie Williams, he was so nice to us and we chatted about football."
D'Ath added that the pair also mingled with Peter Andre, Mel B, Samantha Fox, Dizzee Rascal, N-Dubz and "cheered up" Cheryl Cole.
Brit Awards organisers are yet to comment.
