Eminem, Muse for 'T In The Park'

Eminem and Muse have been confirmed to perform at this year's T In The Park.

The Relapse rapper will top the bill at the event, which is held in Balado, Kinross between July 9 and 11.

Further acts confirmed to play the festival include Kasabian Jay-Z, Dizzee Rascal, Paolo Nutini, Empire Of The Sun, Stereophonics, Florence and the Machine and The Prodigy.

Eminem's headline set marks his first British festival performance since Reading in 2001.

Meanwhile, Muse bassist Chris Wolstenholme revealed their excitement at playing the Scottish festival.

"T In The Park we've done three or four times before but we've never headlined it before," he told BBC Newsbeat.

"I think Eminem is amazing. I haven't listened to the last album much but the album before that was incredible. I've never seen him live before.

"The only problem we have is that it's world cup final weekend. If it falls on the world cup final and England happen to be there I might have to go and watch England play instead."

T In The Park tickets go on sale at 9am on February 26.

Kings Of Leon, Blur, Snow Patrol and The Killers performed headline sets at the 2009 festival.
