Owen has replaced Lucie Kay, who quit the all-girl three-piece last December.
A post on the 'Gold Digger' group's Twitter page read: "WHO WANTS TO SEE THE NEW DOLLY ROCKER?!... THE NEW DOLLY ROCKER DANIELE OWEN!! Daniele is replacing Lucie. (sic)
"Lucie has not been in the group since December, Daniele is 18, very enthusiastic with an incredible voice! can't wait for you to hear our new material! x."
Owen added: "Hi Everyone! Thanks so much for the warm welcome! I am VERY excited. cant wait for u to hear our new stuff! Love you all already! Daniele xxx."
Prior to Kay's departure, the band denied reports that they had been dropped from their record company, claiming that they chose to move label with their A&R team.
