Muse, Kasabian top NME Awards 2010

Blur and Arctic Monkeys also scored significant wins on the night following 3.6 million votes from the magazine's readers to decide the outcome of the awards.
Muse beat Arctic Monkeys, Biffy Clyro, Kasabian and Oasis to the title of 'Best British Band' and also triumphed in the 'Best Website' category.
Meanwhile, Kasabian won 'Best Album' and 'Best Album Artwork' for West Rider Pauper Lunatic Asylum.
Blur's reunion gig at Hyde Park was named 'Best Live Event', while Arctic Monkeys won in the 'Best Live Band' category.
As announced before the ceremony, Paul Weller won the 'Godlike Genius' prize, following in the footsteps of previous recipients Massive Attack, U2 and The Clash among others. The Specials secured the prestigious 'Outstanding Contribution To Music' award.
Other winners on the night included Paramore for 'Best International Band', Jamie T for 'Best Solo Artist' and The Big Pink's 'Dominos' for 'Best Track'.
