Allen donates song proceeds to Haiti fund

Kris Allen will donate proceeds from iTunes sales of his American Idol 'Let It Be' performance to the Haiti earthquake relief fund.

The former Idol winner performed the Beatles track on last night's results show, which saw the first four contestants eliminated from the ninth season.

Allen recently visited the Caribbean island with the United Nations Foundation.

All profits from the download will go to the 'Idol Gives Back Foundation' benefiting the UN Foundation Fund for Haiti.
