New-look Sugababes 'not best friends yet'

Sugababes star Heidi Range has admitted that she would not describe the group's new recruit Jade Ewen as one of her best friends.

The singer explained that she is still getting to know Ewen but is enjoying her company after the Eurovision star replaced Keisha Buchanan in the band's lineup last September.

Range told the Glasgow Sunday Mail: "Things are so much better with Jade. We are really enjoying working together. It is like a fresh start.

"I'm not going to say we are best friends because we are still getting to know Jade, but she is a lovely girl."

Meanwhile, their bandmate Amelle Berrabah commented: "Now Jade is on board we are really happy and it is nice coming into work. Jade is a breath of fresh air and a nice girl. We are so looking forward to the future. I am the happiest person ever."

Sugababes have recently been promoting their new single 'Wear My Kiss', which entered the UK chart at number seven yesterday.
