According to The Mirror, the singer has purchased a £2.5million property in North London because she loves the "musical community" in the area.
Winehouse has been living in High Barnet for the past year.
"She wasn't finding High Barnet exactly inspiring, so she wants to be in the mix of the music community in Camden," said a source. "They are just finalising details on a new house and she's staying in a hotel in between."
The 'Rehab' singer is currently working on the follow-up to 2006's Back To Black with producer Salaam Remi.
