The Brit Award-winning artist's Dirtee Stank Recordings label has joined with the publisher to produce the volume through the new Dirtee Books imprint, The Bookseller reports.
Canongate editorial director Nick Davies signed the deal with Dirtee Stank's Nick Detnon for an undisclosed sum.
Rascal will co-author the book - provisionally titled The Dizzee Rascal Story - with music journalist Ben Thompson. It will include photographs, lyrics and an "intimate insight" into the life of the rapper.
Dirtee Books hopes to simultaneously release audiobook, enhanced e-book and iPhone App versions of the memoir, with a paperback due to hit shelves in summer 2011.
