Gorillaz Murdoc: 'New LP is a soundtrack'

The animated group's creators Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett previously revealed the contents of the record - which was released today.
The fictional bass player told Reuters: "You've got to remember that the Gorillaz name goes a long way now, much further than it did at the beginning."
He added: "Plastic Beach is not really a green record, it's a soundtrack for a plastic beach.
"It's taking little snapshots of many, many places around the world and then stuck them all together on a billboard so you can see how they all fit. It's not a judgement on the world, it's just a picture."
