The trio have already started searching for homes across the pond following a successful meeting with Def Jam record label boss LA Reid, according to The Sun.
It is thought that Reid has offered the hip-hop group a lucrative Stateside deal but wants them to show their commitment to the project by moving to Los Angeles in the summer.
A source said: "They are over the moon about being offered the chance to crack the US. It's what they have always wanted, they can't believe it's finally happening.
"The meeting with Def Jam went really well and they told LA Reid they were prepared to give up their lives in London and move to the US to make it work."
N-Dubz were recently tipped to have an image makeover if they managed to secure a US deal.
