The R&B singer was expected to get the jaunt under way on March 22 and had planned to visit the UK for a trio of shows in April.
However, Kelly has now said that he has been ordered to rest by doctors after developing nodules on his vocal chords.
"I owe it to my fans to give them the best shows possible and right now my voice isn't up to the job," he said in a statement.
