The 21-year-old, who is currently at number one with his first single 'Pass Out', explained that he is excited about releasing the record.
"It's a big label and a big responsibility, but the only way you can deliver is to work really well under pressure," he told the Daily Record.
"I have almost finished my debut album and I am really excited and can't wait for everyone to hear it. I am 80 per cent there and it is sounding incredible."
He added: "I've been working with a number of producers and I'm trying to create a unique and incredible body of work. I am trying to give them the best I can."
Tempah recently revealed that he is hoping to study at university in the future.
