Graham Norton has told DS that he is optimistic about the chances of UK hopeful Josh Dubovie at this year's Eurovision.
Dismissing DJ Neil Fox's criticism yesterday that the Your Country Needs You! winner is "an average song by an average singer", Norton said that he thinks Pete Waterman-penned track 'That Sounds Good To Me' will stand out from the crowd.
"I think if it is an average song and an average singer, we are already doing quite well for Eurovision," he joked.
The host, who was speaking at the launch of new BBC One talent hunt Over The Rainbow, said that other countries are focusing on "folk ballads" this year.
"[Our entry] will be a sorbet of electro pop in the midst of lots of mandolins and accordions on the night," he added.
