The supergroup, also made up of Queens Of The Stone Age frontman Josh Homme and Led Zeppelin bassist John Paul Jones, uploaded the clip today.
In the video, which also shows footage of the band working on their upcoming second album, an on-screen narration reads: "Two weeks after this video was shot, Dave was rushed to [a] doctor due to the onset of unwanted physical effects caused by too much caffeine. For reals. He was kind of a mess."
The message continues: "Since then he has reduced his intake of the super delicious hot beverage to a healthier level."
Them Crooked Vultures are expected to release the follow-up to their 2009 debut later this year.
