Keith Duffy has spoken of his delight over Boyzone's recent chart success.
The band, who released new LP Brother last week, beat Gorillaz to secure the number one slot in the UK album chart last Sunday.
The record is their first as a four-piece since Stephen Gately died last October.
Duffy, 35, said: "It's number one - it doesn't get much better than that!"
The singer also said a number one album is "bittersweet" but a "fantastic tribute" to Gately, who would have celebrated his 34th birthday today.
