The Girls Aloud singer, who released her debut solo single 'Fight For This Love' last year, has been targeted along with her label bosses at Sony/ATV by a songwriter claiming to have worked on the chart-topping hit.
The suit has been filed by US publisher Peermusic, which is seeking a cut of the profits from the track, according to The Sun.
'Fight For This Love' went to number one in October last year after selling 134,000 copies in just one day.
