Producer Rob Furasi, who co-wrote 'Paparazzi', alleges that GaGa halted his involvement in her career after their split. Furasi believes that he deserves more than a cheque given to him by GaGa for £406,000 because he came up with her stage name and helped to set up a record deal.
According to The Mirror, he has said in the past: "I feel like I may have been demoted to... what would be one level beneath friend? A professional acquaintance?"
The lawsuit against GaGa, real name Stefani Germanotta, was filed on Wednesday in a Manhattan state court.
