Sabrina Washington has revealed that fans can expect "sauciness" from her new album.
Washington, 31, who exclusively told DS her new LP's title, Dirty Pop, describes the sound of the album as "in your face".
"[The album's] called Dirty Pop, which is also the best way of describing the sound," she told Metro.
"It's really hard bass lines with sexy, in-your-face, tongue-in-cheek lyrics over the top of them."
The ex-Mis-Teeq singer also said the sound of her new LP is a reflection of where she is in her life at the moment.
She added: "Yes, it's a bit saucy. It shows my growth. When I started Miss-Teeq I was a teenager and now I'm a woman.
"There was always an element of sauciness when I was in Mis-Teeq, I just didn't show it. This album is a reflection of where I am now. I'm single, confident and know what I want."
Washington, who recently appeared on I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here!, also admitted that it was difficult to move on after the band's split.
"I was with Mis-Teeq for nearly eight years so just wanted to find out what I wanted to do. We spent nearly 20 hours a day together, so it was like going through a divorce."
Washington's new single, 'OMG', is released on April 5.
