Although the record producer is currently serving a 19-year sentence for second-degree murder, a collection of songs he wrote with spouse Rachelle Short is due to go on sale in June.
The troubled music mogul produced the record with the former Playboy model throughout 2009, completing the work prior to his sentencing in June.
Short told the New York Daily News: "I do lead vocals. My husband is so proud of me and I'm so proud of him for withstanding what he's withstanding."
The as-yet-untitled LP is slated for release on June 8.
