The Girls Aloud singer sang stripped back versions of her single 'Parachute' and a cover of Owl City's 'Fireflies' on the show, earlier today.
Speaking beforehand, Cole admitted that she was suffering after a heavy night drinking with bandmate Nicola Roberts.
"At the time it seemed like a really nice idea and a good idea. I said to Nicola this morning, 'Cheers for that, you knew I was going to be singing this morning!'" she joked. "Nicola was looking how I felt."
After performing 'Parachute', Cole confessed that she had almost had a "mini panic attack" before singing.
Later, she also complained when the live webcam showed her feet to viewers. "I know a lot of people have foot fetishes, but they won't like mine," she joked. "They are dainty, but there is nothing pretty about them."
When asked why she picked the Owl City track to cover on the show, she said: "I've chosen it because I just love the track. It makes me feel funny and it's something different to what I normally sing."
