The 'Party In The USA' singer admitted that she would prefer to appear in more movies rather than record another album after landing a starring role in The Last Song.
She said on ABC's The View: "I just want to do films because I like being someone else. I just feel like the music industry isn't as positive as I'd like it to be."
The star was recently lauded by The Last Song's director Julie Anne Robinson for her performance in the romantic film.
