Ahead of the event's official lineup announcement on Monday, online speculation from several sources has linked the US rockers to the festival this summer.
Both Metal Hammer and Metro claim that Guns N' Roses will be returning to the bash, eight years after their Leeds-only appearance in 2002.
Meanwhile, other mooted headliners include Arcade Fire as well as Blink-182, who are expected to appear after drummer Travis Barker hinted that the band are planning a European festival appearance in August.
Among the other acts previously touted to play include Paramore, My Chemical Romance, Hole and The Maccabees.
