There has been speculation that the band could split, with Cheryl Cole enjoying a successful career away from the group and Harding and Nadine Coyle planning their own solo albums.
Harding told Heat: "I don't know what the future is for the band. We'll just have to re-evaluate when the time comes. It's hard to know."
She added that she had "no idea" if the band would in fact reunite and revealed of her relationship with Coyle: "I haven't seen her for ages."
Cole recently claimed that Girls Aloud intend to honour their existing three-album contract.
